Papildau ankstesnį straipsnį. Viename komentare radau dar įdomesnį pavyzdį:
Parašius "i am lithuanian" ir nurodžius, kad verstų iš lietuvių į anglų, pasiūlomas vertimas "I am saint". Tačiau "I am Lithuanian" verčia į "I am Polish".
Papildyta:
Kitas ne toks įdomus pavyzdys: "lietuviai" >> "Lithuanians", bet "lietuvis" >> "news".
Dar papildyta:
"Litwa" iš lietuvių į anglų verčiama kaip "Lithuania". Normali vertyklė tiesiog nekeičia žodžio, jei jo neturi savo žodyne. Šitą matyt turi.
"Litauen" iš lietuvių į anglų verčiama kaip "Polen". Čia jau ir anglų kalbos žodynas užkabintas, nes tokio žodžio anglų k. nėra.
Kas čia vyksta?

Valio valio Google ir Jo didžiąjam vertėjui. Čia nėra ko skųstis. Google sumaitino savo statistiniam vertimui tokius tekstus ir jei nepatinka, kaip verčia, reikia siųlyti pataisti į geresnį vertimą ir tikėtis, kad vers teisingai :-)
O šiaip, Tegyvuoja senoji Žečpospolita ;-) (Juokauju).
